Baby Moon offers many classes for pregnancy through parenthood, but one of our most loved is BYOB: Bring Your Own Baby Yoga. This class is a time to get out of the house, bond with your baby, stretch your body, and connect with other parents going through the same ups and downs as you are! We hope to see you Wednesday mornings at at 11:15. Purchase class passes or packages HERE
We know that getting out of the house around the holidays can be difficult, so Carly put together little video with you in mind. Take 4 minutes by yourself or with your baby to stretch and breathe!
Check below for common FAQ's for this wonderful class option in Lexington!
When can I begin attending class?
You can begin attending as soon as you are healed enough to leave the house. Keep in mind that with a Cesarean birth, you may not be able to participate fully right away, but will be able to enjoy the company of all of the other parents and babies until you are released from a physicians care! Class occurs on birth balls and the floor so keep that in mind when figuring out when you're healed enough to attend.
Can my partner come?
Yes! After some deliberation, Mom and Baby Yoga has been converted to BYOB yoga. This allows parents to attend together or for stay at home partners to attend with their little ones as well. We also offer a Saturday session for those families who work during the week.
What age does my baby need to be?
This class is great until babies become really mobile. At that point it's difficult to keep them safe as all of the adults move around the room. That may be 6 months for some babies and 9-12 months for others!
What if my baby is fussy?
We've all been there and we understand. The goal is for you to be able to get out of the house and congratulate and commiserate with others who really do get it. Whether your baby is fussy or completely content, we welcome you!
What if my baby gets hungry?
When babies need to eat, they need to eat. Whether breast or bottle feeding, please feel free to take a break and feed your baby. There is a room next door with a chair, or you can stay right in the class during the feeding. Our comfort level is your comfort level!
